Our History

Pieters Textiel was founded in 1934 in Beveren-Leie, Belgium. In those early years, we grew from a commission weaver to an independent weaver creating our own mattress ticking fabrics. In the fifty years that followed, we extended our plant with 210 cm-width weaving looms, air jet looms equipped with electronic systems, and an in-house warping department. These innovations dramatically increased our overall production capacity, our efficiency and quality.

In 2007, Pieters Textiel became part of a bigger textile group, allowing us to start producing knitted fabrics as well. Production and commercial activities were moved to the site of sister company Ter Molst International in Oostrozebeke, Belgium, and we have been operating there ever since.

Since 2017, Pieters Textiel is part of Love Home Fabrics, a group of eleven textile brands worldwide. This umbrella brand enables customers to select all home fabrics within the same group, constantly assuring the same quality, craftsmanship and service.

Love Home Fabrics recently launched its group project Act for Home Textiles, a sustainability programme for its products and production processes. At Pieters Textiel, we’re excited to support the plan with our reduced energy levels, water purification station and recycle actions. Collections that belong to the Act for Home Textiles range are PecorelleEverGreen , EverJean; L.E.A.F. and La Lys.
