Telford Bed Show: New Designs & Colours

The biggest bedding fair in the UK is drawing closer again! At the Bed Show in Telford, you’ll be able to explore our wide range of mattress and upholstery-style fabrics, which have just been extended with new designs and colours. We hope to see you at the Telford International Centre on 18 or 19 September!

Mattress fabric trends to keep an eye on

Fabric trends are always a huge inspiration for our new themes. The summery floral trend, which we included in our ‘Blooming’ theme and which is also found in clothing this year, is a perfect match for sweet-looking mattress fabrics.

Artistic impressions with eccentric (coloured) line drawings are a bit more daring, but will definitely give your mattress a personal and unique look.

Looking for a more geometric knit? We found our inspiration in architecture and patterns around the world (hence, we called our theme ‘Architexture’) and combined different shapes to create fascinating patterns.

Portuguese azulejos, old bathroom or kitchen tiles, authentic entrance hall floors… they all spark our imagination for a lovely mattress fabric.

These design trends were an important part of our development process. They helped us create new tender and lofty knits, and also were an inspiration for our top 45 ends damask ranges, Par Excellence and Exquisite.

Knus: new highlights

Upholstery-style fabrics are gathered into our Knus family. The woolly touch and matt looks of these fabrics are made especially for boxsprings and we added a few new qualities to the collection. Shenzhen has a touch of Ace for a keen price. Next to wintery AW 18/19 colours, we’re already presenting this design in SS 2019 colours. Together with Quarona and Zinola, two base fabrics with voluminous chenille yarns in various colours and designs, our Knus family has three new timeless classics in its ranks.

Bed Show novelties

Next to that, we also extended our Pecorelle family with some new designs, and we’re already showing a few knitted border fabrics in the Spring/Summer 2019 colours.
